Forbes is delighted to announce the launch of its new Transport & Logistics team, marking an official sector focus for the firm.
The firm has recruited renowned Corporate Lawyer, Jennifer Bell as Head of Transport and Logistics. Jennifer joined Forbes from niche transport firm, Backhouse Jones where she spent eight years advising leading transport and logistics firms on matters relating to commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, commercial property and banking and finance.
"Forbes has long been aware of the transport experience we have under one roof. Jennifer's appointment has amalgamated that experience meaning we now have a strong proposition to offer the sector."
Pauline Rigby, Partner and Head of Corporate
Commenting on her appointment Jennifer said, “I was attracted to Forbes on account of the full-range of disciplines they are able to offer clients in this sector. The range of specialisms within Forbes including for example, business crime and regulatory compliance, risk and insurance, public procurement together with the full scope of commercial services means they can provide a comprehensive offering to the sector that is in my opinion, unparalleled. They truly are the one stop shop for legal services. That was a pull for me.”
Pauline Rigby, Partner and Head of Corporate at Forbes comments, “Jennifer has a wealth of experience in the transport and logistics sector. Forbes has long been aware of the transport experience we have under one roof. Jennifer’s appointment has amalgamated that experience meaning we now have a really strong proposition to offer the sector. I am incredibly enthusiastic about our future.”
